In short
- Your projects are stored only on your device.
- There is no account, no server and no cloud sync.
- The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
- Data leaves your device only when you choose to share a report or export a backup.
1. Who we are
Crown Expansion Planner (“the app”) is a planning tool for businesses preparing to enter a new country. For any privacy question contact [email protected].
2. Information you enter
You can enter project information such as project names, countries, dates, goals, market scores, research notes, strategy text, tasks, milestones, budget amounts and scenarios, risks, SWOT points, document and localization checklists and a post-launch log. You can also record details about business contacts you work with (name, company, role, email address, phone number and notes).
This information is saved in the app’s private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else by the app, and we have no copy of it.
3. Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts and makes no network requests. It does not include analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking software, and it does not use the advertising ID, your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
4. When data leaves your device
- Share report and Export backup. When you tap these, the app creates text and opens Android’s share sheet. The text goes only to the app or person you choose, and that recipient’s own privacy terms apply from then on.
- Email and phone links. Tapping an email address or phone number, or “Contact support”, opens your email or phone app.
- Privacy policy link. Opens this page in your browser.
- Device backup. If you have Android’s own device backup turned on, the operating system may include app data in your personal backup under Google’s terms. This is controlled in your device settings, not by the app.
5. Permissions
The app requests no runtime permissions. Its package includes the standard Internet permission required by the app framework; the app itself does not use the network. It does not send notifications.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual items or whole projects in the app, erase everything under Settings → Erase all projects, or uninstall the app. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
7. Children
The app is a business planning tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.
8. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. Like any web server, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operation.
9. Not professional advice
The app helps you organise your own planning. It does not provide legal, tax, immigration or financial advice, and readiness scores or budget projections are not forecasts.
10. Changes
If the app’s handling of data changes, we will update this policy and the date above before releasing that version.
